Advertiser Checklist
Prior to becoming an Advertiser with SOSComplete!, there are a few steps which you will need to take. Below is a checklist of both required, and highly recommended measures which our Advertisers must take and should consider (respectively). By using this checklist, you can be certain that you are ready to complete the steps in the Getting Started as an SOSComplete! Advertiser section.
Required Measures
- You must have your own registered domain name. You may not use a subdomain on another website, such as http://yoursite.yahoo.com.
- You must have a digital product which is widely accessible across different operating systems and software. For instance, if your product is an e-book, make sure that you format it in Adobe, which is free, rather than Microsoft Word, which is not free.
- You must have a Sales Page and a Thank You Page for your product.
- You must have web hosting for your Sales Page and Thank You Page. SOSComplete! does not provide webhosting. Further, you are not permitted to use free or any webhosting which simply assigns a subdomain.
- You must provide Customer Support. You must provide customers with a valid e-mail address to which questions may be addressed, and responded to within one (1) business day.
Recommended Measures
Every Advertiser should upload Offer Creatives to their offers. An Offer Creative is a file or image which is added to an offer. This is a place where you can provide images, banners, additional information, resources, and more to affiliates in order to aid them in selling your product(s). You can add and store as many images and files as you would like for an offer using the "File Manager" in your "Offers" section when logged into your account.
You can upload one file to multiple offers. Hover over the "Offers" tab and select "File Manager". Click the "Upload File to Multiple Offers" link located in the top right corner of the table. Selecct multiple offers from the "Offers" box while holding down your Ctrl key. Enter a Display Name, select a "File Type", and click "Browse" to locate your file. Click "Upload" to add your file to each of the selected offers.
After an offer file or or creative is uploaded for a selected offer, Affiliates can preview and export as many files as they wish for a selected offer. To access the offer, Affiliates will select the offer under the "Offers" tab, and click on the offer link which they would like the view. The offer files will be displayed at the bottom of the offer page.
